IBM, Sun Merger

Surprising, I would say. Yes, Sun and IBM are all set to merge and its for a purpose. The idea behind the merger is the untapped potential of cloud computing technologies. Yes, definitely the trend is towards cloud computing. I worked for a small company called BioVoyage Inc located in Tampa. It was a small company looking to venture out into online education. The firm's director was also considering to subscribe to a cloud computing service from RackSpace.  The decision was purely based on have a hassle free servers and it saves them from paying a IT guy.

So if a small company like that could that could think of cloud, then, Yes, there is a great future for Cloud computing environments. And I see this merger as a move to compete with the players and outplay them.
